Other Interests

  • Books - I love diving into all sorts of books, from Brandon Sanderson's epic fantasies to Fredrik Backman's heartfelt stories.

  • Computers - I built a personal custom workstation and two office PCs for family, as well as picking out PCs for college clubs.

  • Music - I have played the piano since I was 10; also listen to tons of music from classic rock to soundtracks, scores, and plenty in between.

  • Photography - Though I'm very amateur, I took practically every photo on this site with my trusty smartphone camera.

  • Video games - I have found they are great for de-stressing and killing time, and often require strategy and teamwork to succeed.

  • VR - I enjoy social VR experiences and tinkering with IMU tracking for immersive adventures.

How I Got Into Engineering

From a young age, I was always drawn to how things worked—whether it was taking apart household electronics (sometimes successfully putting them back together!) or sketching out ideas for new gadgets. My curiosity led me to explore manufacturing and product design, where I realized I wasn’t just interested in how things were made—I wanted to make them better.

Throughout my education and career, I’ve been driven by one key question:
"How can we design and manufacture products more efficiently, reliably, and sustainably?"

This mindset led me to specialize in manufacturing engineering, product design, and process optimization—areas where I thrive in solving complex problems and turning concepts into reality.
